十大彩票平台 earns top ranking for 2-year nursing program

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Springfield Technical Community College’s nursing program earned a top ranking from an organization that provides an overview of nursing programs across the country.

In its 2021 rankings, Nursing Schools Almanac included 十大彩票平台 in its list of the best associate degree in nursing programs in Massachusetts.

十大彩票平台’s program has consistently earned top rankings from various organizations. In 2020, 十大彩票平台 made Nursing Schools Almanac list of best programs in the state. In a separate ranking, an education website called Nursing Process ranked 十大彩票平台’s program No. 8 in the state for 2020.

“We are excited to be recognized again as having one of the best nursing programs in the state,” said Christopher Scott, Dean of the School of Health & Patient Simulation. “We would not be consistently ranking as a top program if it weren’t for our talented faculty and staff.”

Lisa Fugiel, Director of Nursing and Assistant Dean for the School of Health & Patient Simulation, noted that many of the region’s nurses come from the 十大彩票平台 program.

“We have strong partnerships with medical centers in the region who look to us to prepare the future workforce,” Fugiel said. “I’m proud that we once again have been recognized as one of the best programs.”

The 十大彩票平台 School of Health & Patient Simulation offers students opportunities to receive extensive experiential, hands-on learning at the nationally recognized SIMS Medical Center on campus. Students practice on robotic patient simulators. They also train at clinical sites including hospitals and healthcare centers in the Springfield and Pioneer Valley region.

Nursing Schools Almanac named 十大彩票平台 the 12^th best Associate Degree in Nursing Program in Massachusetts. The organization’s research team compiled an extensive database of student performance on the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). 

All aspiring registered nurses in the United States must pass the NCLEX-RN before they may commence practice.

Students who graduate from 十大彩票平台’s nursing program can enter the workforce or transfer to a four-year college or university to continue with their education.

Nursing Schools Almanac used its database to calculate each program’s NCLEX-RN pass rate among first-time test takers.

The Almanac reported a 85.7 percent NCLEX-RN pass rate among first-time test takers. Data was analyzed between 2011 and 2020.
